Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy - Integration Sessions
The use of psychedelic plants (psilocybin or mushrooms, ayahuasca) have been practiced for a millennia in South/Central America, Africa and with indigenous people within the U.S. The use of these and other human-made compounds (LSD, MDMA) have grown in popularity & gained legitimacy as a safe and effective treatment for diagnosis such as PTSD, anxiety and depression as well as for the treatment of substance use disorders, eating disorders as well as personal growth journeys.
However, the use of psychedelics remains illegal (ketamine has had FDA approval for the treatment of depression) for wide-spread usage in the U.S. While there are some institutions and universities who have been given permission from the government to conduct research with these compounds, the progress is slow and uncertain for full FDA approval.
Even though I am not currently able to offer PAT, I have been trained through The Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies MAPS and can offer integration work in a safe and secure environment. For those who have taken any psychedelic in a controlled or recreational setting, I offer a space to:
Explore the journey and derive meaning from your experience
A judgment-free zone to talk about your experience/s
An opportunity to implement what you learned in your journey into life-changing practices in your personal and professional life
